Hang Tuah: Golden Quest

Objective

Cross the jungle platforms, avoid enemies, collect coins and reach the royal keris at the end of the level.

Controls

Move with A/D or the arrow keys. Jump with W, Up Arrow or Space. Touch controls appear on supported phones and tablets.

Playing tips

• Land on an enemy from above while descending to defeat it; side contact costs a life.
• Jump height is fixed. Adjust left/right movement to line up a landing instead of tapping Jump for a shorter leap.
• The raised platforms offer optional coins. Learn the ground gaps before taking a detour.

Scoring and the finish

Each of the 14 coins awards 100 points. Defeating an enemy by landing on it awards 200 points, and reaching the royal keris awards 1,000 points. You do not need every coin to finish.

Lives and restarts

You begin with three lives. Falling below the level or touching an enemy from the side costs a life and returns you to the opening position. Collected coins, defeated enemies and score remain while lives are left. Losing the final life starts a fresh run with three lives and resets the score and collectibles. Play Again also starts fresh.

A first-run route

Practice on the long opening ground platform before crossing the first gap. Use the raised platforms for coins only when you can see a safe landing. Approach an enemy from above rather than running into it. The goal is near the far right of the level.

If controls or sound do not respond

Press Start Adventure before playing. Use the on-screen arrows on a small screen, or A/D and W on a keyboard. Use Sound On/Off to toggle both effects and background music. If the game does not appear, check that JavaScript is enabled and reload; a reload restarts the run.
